The ATS (Application Tracking System)!

The ATS has no mercy!

Today is officially one month of unemployment for me in the corporate world.

Approximately 100 applications and a 50% rejection rate and ghosting are becoming common, and I am not dating.

2:36am CST appears to be the magical time the ATS system sweeps resumes and applications to reject them for me.

It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is or if it is the weekend.

Easter?

I was rejected on Saturday and today from two separate companies at the same time.

It’s ominous out there! There has to be a better way. I know keyword optimization.

My recent post on LinkedIn had ‘666’ for impressions for at least the last 12 hours. I kept refreshing hoping it would change soon, but it didn’t.

I think the crows built a nest in my backyard.

That’s not good in the “looking for good signs world” of a job search.

And then someone from my network reached out to me to offer advice and another previous peer contacted me this morning at 7am.

The average job search can take 3-6 months depending on your circumstances according to the latest statistics, but that will differ depending on your situation.

Stay positive and consistent, something bigger and better is going to happen!

I just seen a robin. And my post changed to 675 impressions.

Happy Easter & Rock on!
