Job recruitment is failing…

Live is Life!

Are you surviving?

Food, shelter and clothing are basics that are a challenge for you.

Me too!

You are not alone and hopefully it improves. Definitely not new, but more difficult now than ever before.

Trying to live the American Dream?

I am grateful for everything I have!

It’s not easy!!!

The latest statistics indicate that approx. 7 million open positions are unfilled in the USA as of 2025?

Wow!!!

How is this okay regardless of the role or your position in life?

It’s not and something is broken. Even before Artificial Intelligence (AI) the system was not working.

How many rejections did you get before your last job offer?

Or are you still waiting for that magical offer?

It doesn’t matter what you are doing if you are still trying.

Never give up!

I am in my current position because someone had my resume sitting on their desk for over a year and decided to recruit me to save their department. That was after multiple job applications, interviews and rejections to get in the same company. I always wanted to work for this company in my industry.

I eventually got in, but…

The system that scans your resume or AI will NEVER be able to determine the integrity, competence or empathy that a person may have to determine if you can exceed in a role and drive business success.

That includes your work ethic!

Especially during job applications and the filtering stage of scanning your experience via technology using a resume or a cover letter that seems like the most worthless digital documents ever after so many rejections, but your whole work life is on them with custom messages to a potential future employer.

Whether you want to find a corporate job, just get a job (part time or full time), start your own business or get back in the workforce it doesn’t matter what age you are, it is a challenge.

A “shiny” new job sounds cool right now.

A new start in life if you lost a position, the sooner the better.

Or what about if you are trying to restart a career being out of the workforce for a while?

A lot of society has lost focus on a solid family core. So, even if you have been the CEO of raising your family, you’re the foundation of what is missing in America and is a skill that needs to be valued more. There is no amount of money that you can place on a mother or father that raises children to be a positive impact to society.

Priceless!

Providing a good life for your family “a housewife” is that an acceptable term (probably not) but is such an important role that defines our culture and drives the core values of putting good people in our communities.

It’s not easy regardless if you are younger or older.

Job boards, recruiters, networks, etc. I am running out of Chapstick trying to stay relevant.

Entry level out of college? Don’t get me started on how this can be discouraging.

I am trying to live in the moment.

It’s time to just be happy. Being angry, sad and overthinking isn’t worth it anymore. Just let things flow. Be positive!

I hope you find your Business Card with the whale on it. See the movie “Take Me Home Tonight”

And Remember “Live is Life”

Rock on!
