“I’m on Fire”

Figuratively speaking only, do not light a match next to me though I am moisturizing my face.

I am the corporate guy that is more frequently going on camera to stay relevant in a remote working world. Do not get me started on going back to the office, a hybrid environment or working remote all the time.

I have done them all. It depends on the person and the culture of the company to make it work for you.

Productivity is driven by the character and work ethic of the person not where you are located.

I had the cubicle, the corner office with a view and also worked in an open floor plan. All involved long commutes, but the experience of going to the big city priceless.

Maybe.

I would rather dictate my own terms vs. being required to go back to the office, but I will do anything to keep the momentum going in my career.

So, I am 100% remote at the moment and more on camera.

Back to moisturizing my face.

My daughter thought I was sweating last time she seen me. I think I thought I was too after bringing in the groceries from a trip to the store.

But no, I was just doing my skin routine. My wife must spend hours every day keeping this routine going and she continues to look like a model.

I am going to try it too.

There must be chemical reactions going on since I am trying at least four different products now and between the retinol and hydrochloric acid mixing together with ingredients that are probably not meant to be with each other I will not cook near an open flame on a stove now.

Feeling the pressure to go on camera more often to stay visible with other leaders of the company is making me more aware of getting older.

I just want to continue to look good.

I am in the early stages of this routine requiring attention twice a day. I heard consistency is really important just like how you approach working remotely.

If you haven’t started already try it especially if you are experiencing the dry air of the winter.

“Looking good Billy Ray! Feeling good, Louis!”

I am noticing some positive changes, but there are many other things to consider. Glad I was using sunblock all these years.

Looking younger as you age involves a combination of lifestyle choices, skincare, and overall well-being. Here are some tips:

  1. Healthy Diet: Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Antioxidant-rich foods can help protect your skin from damage.
  2. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining healthy-looking skin.
  3. Sun Protection: Protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays by using sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Sun exposure can accelerate aging and cause wrinkles.
  4. Skincare Routine: Establish a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturizing, and using anti-aging products with ingredients like retinol and hyaluronic acid.
  5. Adequate Sleep: Ensure you get enough quality sleep as it plays a crucial role in skin regeneration and overall well-being.
  6. Exercise Regularly: Regular physical activity promotes good circulation, which can contribute to a healthy complexion.
  7. Limit Stress: Chronic stress can impact your appearance. Practice stress-reducing activities such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises.
  8. Avoid Smoking and Excessive Alcohol: Smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can accelerate aging and negatively impact your skin.
  9. Maintain a Healthy Weight: Yo-yo dieting and extreme weight fluctuations can contribute to premature aging. Aim for a healthy, balanced weight.
  10. Stay Socially Active: Maintaining social connections and engaging in activities you enjoy can positively impact your mental and emotional well-being, which can reflect on your overall appearance.

Remember that aging is a natural process, and embracing it with a positive mindset can also contribute to a youthful appearance. Additionally, individual results may vary, so it’s essential to find what works best for you.

Thinking about an LED light mask? Do they work? This is starting to get out of hand.
